Connecting, compensation and thermoelectric cables for temperature sensors
- Cables based on the IEC 60 584-2 standard, manufactured as compensation cables, have the second letter "C" in the designation, while the thermoelectric cables have the second letter "X" in the designation.
- Thermoelectric cables are cables made of the same materials as the thermocouple, while the cheaper solution, in the lower temperature tolerance class, are compensation cables made of substitute materials.
- The connecting cables are mainly cables for resistance sensors. Compensation cables are used to connect the thermocouple with the measuring, regulating or temperature recording device.
